Jasmine Star recently shot a beautiful garden wedding. Set amidst lush greenery and framed by a stunning oak tree, this wedding was serene and whimsical. My favorite part is the twinkling lights that gently hang from the branches of the tree creating an unforgettable feeling of romance! Instead of big florals, they opted for petite bouquets set in shabby chic stands - which creates a beautiful softness. Congrats to this lovely couple and their lovely wedding!!

We wanted to take a step back in time with today’s post:
Here’s a look at the classic beauty Grace Kelley in her wedding gown.
In a beautiful texture combination, the wedding gown was made from antique Valenciennes rose point lace - which formed the delicate bodice, twenty-five yards of silk taffeta - creating the gathered waist and full skirt, and ninety eight yards of tulle. Her veil was covered with appliquéd lace lovebirds and thousands of seed pearls. The whole wedding attire was designed by Helen Rose, wardrobe designer at MGM. (The MGM wardrobe department made the dress as a wedding gift to Ms Kelley.)
Stunning and elegant, Actress Grace Kelley was wed to Prince Rainier of Monaco on April 18, 1956.

We’ve gotten wind of a some of the latest hair & makeup trends from Caren over at Design Visage.
“This year we have noticed several trends… Up do’s are very loose and
almost look like they are falling down. Many brides are choosing to wear the
hair down, or half up/half down, with a very glamourous curl - in a retro-classic
1940’s look. Make-up is very “natural glamour” as well with soft lips and lots of
drama in the eye area. Hair jewelry is a must this year too! It accents the curl and gives a fun flair.”
Check out these hot looks:
